Purépecha plateau artisans receive diplomas for their training textile

Artisans Angahuan locations, San Felipe de los Herreros and Ocumicho received training and technical assistance in the fields of textiles and blacksmithing.

The National Fund for the Development of Arts and Crafts (Fonart) in coordination with the House of Crafts (Casart), handed diplomas to and artisans who were trained in the fields of textiles and woods, Angahuan locations, San Felipe de los Herreros and Ocumicho. Rafael Paz Vega, director of the Casart, congratulated the 25 artisans from the town of Angahuan, who received comprehensive training and technical assistance for product diversification, improving finishes and implementing the use of sewing machines.

Records on comprehensive training for implementing new designs in women’s clothes were delivered, with the aim of improving the quality finish and stitching to complete the tour of the city of Charapan, in the town of Ocumicho,; here they are involving 15 artisans, who previously were given her sewing machine.
