Michoacan Special Guest at the Ninth International Crafts Fair «Hands of the World»

Mexico City, September 25, 2015.- The most representative of Michoacan chore craft exhibits from yesterday until next Sunday, September 27, in one of the most recognized showcases in Latin America, and will support about 50,000 local and foreign visitors, this is the Ninth International Crafts Fair «Hands of the World».

In this exhibition, which is housed in the Mexica room II international business center, World Trade Center of the capital, boasts over 200 artisans from Mexico and the world at 160 stands. There Michoacano Artisan Institute (AMI), participates with eight artisans of Paracho locations, Ocampo, Morelia, Patzcuaro, Santa Cruz and Tlalpujahua who have pieces for sale in the branches of wood, guitar, traditional toy, lacquer profiled in gold, textiles and pottery high temperature.

The stand that installed the IAM displays about 800 handmade pieces representing the work and the craftsmen from around the state, and with it seeks to consolidate business through contacts that can be obtained in the event and the same, intermediaries have to boost our business processes through the Institute artisans Artisan Michoacan.

All domestic and foreign tourists visiting the IAM space, they are also provides information on the different communities in the state, with the aim of further promoting Michoacan as a preferred tourist destination.

Under the Ninth International Crafts Fair, Michoacan master craftsman Mario Agustin Gaspar Rodriguez of the town of Patzcuaro, will be honored for his great career in different artisan branches.

During the Expo, which is open from 10:00 to 20:00 hours, live music, dancing, roots and representative cultural riches of the participating countries will be presented daily. This year Egypt is the guest country and whose exhibition highlights the culinary show and to the delight of the audience.
